I used to read every single day. Yep, first thing in the morning, too; when my brain is the most fresh and relaxed. Then, something changed. I don't know why, but I just stopped. But, I want to get right back on that train, starting this week!
If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen that I started the book, Maybe You Should Talk to Someone. I was only a few chapters in when I suddenly realized I had set it aside and forgotten about it for weeks. So, I took the time to break out how long it would take, and what I would have to do in order to finish the book by the end of the month. This has me so excited because thinking about the book in chunks (sorry, I know) of three or so chapters, as opposed to the book as a whole, makes it feel so much more manageable and less scary.
With this new method in mind, I have several books on my must-read list that I'm dying to get to! In no particular order...
Vagina Problems by Lara Parker
Period Power by Maisie Hill
The Outpost by Jake Tapper
Untamed by Glennon Doyle
Own Your Everyday by Jordan Lee Dooley
Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert (re-read!)
How Women Rise by Sally Helgesen
There are so many more I'd like to dig into but I think that's where I will start! Want to read with me? I'll share what book I'm reading and my daily breakdown of chapters so we can read together. Follow me on Instagram to find out more!
